Greetings! The Network is pleased to join in with the Friends of Syracuse, the SU Posse, the Syracuse University Jazz Appreciation Society, the SUBLACKBOOK, and the Office of Program Development to recognize the July 10, 2007 Mini-Reunion of the Class of '82.

MISSION: Find the Class of 1982

We have created this page in your honor. It is our ambition to cyber-assist the Class of '82 in its effort to reach and communicate to its classmates. Please feel free to refer others here, regardless of their association to the Class of '82. We're all family anyway. Have a little fun! In additon, the contents of this page will change from day to day, so please bookmark it and visit it daily.

For those of you who are not a part of the Class of '82, you may participate in several ways. You may send the Class of '82 a shout-out greeting email to keittcom@gmail.com. Also, you may leave a voicemail message (not too long) encouraging the Class of '82's reunion efforts, or shouting out individual alumni (if you know them). Your comments will be encorporated into this page. Go for it! The general 1982 Reunion Voicemail telephone number is (641) 985-5999 Extension 27689. Please email your photo to keittcom@gmail.com. This way, you are acknowleging that you are giving the Network the right to publish and place your photo with your words in a video like the one below. Cool?

Of course, we reserve the right to reject inappropriate pictures and audio for inclusion. So, keep it real and in good taste! Again, visit this page often, as we will add the new multimedia content right here. See and hear what other alumni and friends of SU are saying!

The World Greets The Class of 1982

"The economy, stupid," was a phrase in American politics widely used during Bill Clinton's successful 1992 presidential campaign against George H.W. Bush. It was coined by Democratic Party strategist James Carville. However, ten years prior, the U.S. economy, struggling through its worst year in four decades, was overwhelmingly voted the top story of 1982 by Associated Press newspaper and broadcast member editors.

SU Basketball 1981-1982

It was not a great year for the Orangemen. Their record was 16-13 and the team did not go to the NCAA tournament. However, there were many thrilling moments provided by Eric Sandifer, Leo Rautins, Tony Brrin, Gene Waldron, Andre Hawkins, Ron Payton, Calvin Perry, etal. The Dome rocked. Fans cheered, moaned and groaned. The memories of the inspired play that set the tone for the following seasons have lingered through the years and continue to swell our chests with pride.
